Rückblick auf das AMAP Forum 2024 in Aachen: Einblicke und Innovationen in der Aluminiumindustrie
Vom 25. bis 26. April trafen sich mehr als 80 Experten und Industrievertreter zum AMAP Forum in Aachen. Organisiert wurde die Veranstaltung von Dr.-Ing. Peter von den Brincken und Dr.-Ing. Uwe Knaak, Geschäftsführer der AMAP GmbH - dem Aluminium-Cluster an der RWTH Aachen. Das Forum startete mit drei Keynotes zu wirtschaftspolitischen Perspektiven, Dekarbonisierungsszenarien und globalen Trends in der Aluminiumindustrie. Als größte Herausforderung wurde die Dekarbonisierung hervorgehoben, die nahtlose Prozesse und intensive Forschungsanstrengungen erfordert.
